Sunday Stash: Seersucker?

I have to admit it. I really really like seersucker fabrics.

Since I try not to do too much garment sewing, perhaps I can figure out a way to use these in a quilt? I've seen a few other daring quilters use seersucker fabrics, and with great success. Maybe I'll try one day, too...

And, one day, I will start a Sunday Stash post before dinner.

  1. I too love seersucker fabric but I never buy them. I have no desire to make clothing.

  3. Ooooh, now that _really_ reminds me of the quilts my mum made for me and my brother! She used seersucker all over, including the borders. Both quilts were simple rectangles, and she stitched in the ditch. I wish I had a photo to share with you!

These colours look luscious together- I haven't seen any lovely seersucker like that in Australia recently. I wonder how seersucker blocks would look with solid non-seersucker sashing?
