As I finish up this quilt:
I was inspired to try my hand at a house block--something I'd never done before. I recently bought a pattern for it, but it looks like Greek to me, as I am unfamiliar with paper piecing. So, I sketched it out on paper, and pieced it myself:

ReplyDeleteHi Laurel...I think you did a superb job! I have not tried the house pattern either, and I've only done one paper piecing before. It really isn't that hard, but it is my least favorite method of piecing. It could be because it is so ridged and you have to start and finish right on the line. Oh well..you did a good job! I also like the house print!
